I will always treasure the support of the many friends and family members, aka 'My Angels,' who stood with me through my brain tumor journey and surgery nearly 13 years ago. I will also remember how grateful I was that there was a place like the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke.

Angels Among Us is a wonderful family event that not only raises important funds for brain tumor research and treatment, it celebrates the survivors and remembers those who have fought, yet succumbed, to the brain tumor battle.

Your generous support of this cause for brain tumor research means so much!  I know first hand the positive advancements Duke is making in the areas of brain tumor research and treatment.  As they say, "At Duke ... there is hope." I'm living proof of that, thus my commitment to give back and actively help others facing brain tumors.
