In 2001, I heard the words no one wants to hear: you have a brain tumor. By God?s grace, and through the skill and compassion of the doctors and staff at Duke?s Brain Tumor Center, I?m here 25 years later. Every day is a gift, and I give thanks to Jesus for His faithfulness through this journey.

This year?s Angels Among Us 5K and Walk of Hope marks 25 years for me and for Team Headcases. I?d be honored if you?d join me ? by walking, running, cheering, or supporting in spirit. Your encouragement and generosity help fuel vital research and give hope to families like mine.
