Brain cancer has severely impacted my family and took away my Grandpa O’Malley, my Uncle Gary Sefcik, and my father John Bokoch much too early. Additionally several friends have seen family members fight the same battle.

The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke is one of the top brain tumor centers in the country—helping over 5,000 patients each year with incredible care and cutting-edge treatments. We worked to bring my dad down for a clinical trial, but unfortunately when he was finally eligible, further treatment was not a viable option.

The money we raise will go straight toward life-saving research and clinical trials—real hope, real progress.
