Life has thrown my family a curve ball lately and Duke Health has been there for my family through every step of this fight. The fight is not done yet and I am thankful that we have Duke to fight by our side. I wanted to help give back somehow.

I am going to run the Angels Among Us 5K, I have a goal to raise as much as I possibly can for this cause.  I have almost 3 whole months to do this but I cannot do it without the help of all my friends and family!

I recently accepted the challenge to participate in this incredible event to help raise funds for brain tumor research. It’s a cause that means a lot, and I’m very proud to be part of it.

The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke—founded back in 1937—is one of the oldest and most respected brain tumor programs in the country. They’re leading the way with innovative treatments and life-changing clinical trials, giving patients and families real hope.
