Hello friends—join me for the Angels Among Us 5K & Walk for Hope!
Brain cancer has severely impacted my family and took away my Grandpa O’Malley, my Uncle Gary Sefcik, and my father John Bokoch much too early. Additionally several friends have seen family members fight the same battle.
A brain tumor diagnosis turns life upside down. It changes what matters, brings people closer, and makes every day feel more meaningful. No one should face it alone.
The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke is one of the top brain tumor centers in the country—helping over 5,000 patients each year with incredible care and cutting-edge treatments. We worked to bring my dad down for a clinical trial, but unfortunately when he was finally eligible, further treatment was not a viable option.
The money we raise will go straight toward life-saving research and clinical trials—real hope, real progress.
Thank you all for the love and support you have shown over the years for this important event.
