Angels Among Us 2026

Great Scott!

It’s been just over three years since my brain cancer diagnosis.  Having an inoperable tumor in the middle of my brain didn’t leave me with a lot of treatment options.  However, thanks to the genetic testing that the Duke Cancer Clinic conducts on solid tumors, it was discovered that my tumor has a genetic mutation that makes made me a candidate for a targeted drug therapy.  Thanks to the two pills I take each day, along with love and support of family, friends and the amazing team at the Duke Cancer Clinic, I am living a wonderful life.  Julie, Ethan and I are particularly thankful to the Duke Cancer Clinic’s Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center for helping us navigate through some very challenging times, and where I continue to receive incredible care.  We are forever grateful to you all!
