Let’s walk (or run!) together for something bigger than ourselves. The Angels Among Us Walk/Run for Hope brings our community together to raise awareness and critical funds for brain tumor research at the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center. This work matters. It fuels discoveries, supports patients and families, and pushes us closer to a future where hope is stronger than fear.

At Duke, hope isn’t just an idea — it’s a practice. It lives in the dedication of physicians, APPs, nurses, researchers, and every person who shows up every day determined to make a difference. It’s why patients from all over choose Duke. It’s why innovation happens here. And it’s why progress is possible.

This year, let’s turn that shared belief into action.

On April 26th, I’m inviting Blue Devils of every kind — current, past, future, and forever — to come together as Blue Devils for Hope. Whether you’re a CAPE student or alum grateful for the mentors and experiences that shaped you, a Duke student or graduate with a personal connection to cancer, or simply someone who believes in the power of research and compassionate care, there is a place for you on this team.

Every step, every donation, and every show of support helps move research forward and reminds patients and families that they are not alone.
