Hello friends—join me for the Angels Among Us 5K & Walk for Hope!

Thirty-eight years ago, my family lost our mother, Lucille Gallagher, to a brain tumor (glioblastoma) which was a devastating loss for our family. Today, I find myself facing that same diagnosis - a reality that is both deeply personal and profoundly motivating. While treatments have advanced since our mother’s time, progress has been slower than any of us would hope for. That’s why this cause matters so much to me.

I’m participating in the Angels Among Us 5K as part of Team Gallagher38 to help change that story—for myself, for my family, and for everyone impacted by brain tumors. Our team’s name acknowledges the 38 years in between my diagnoses and that of my mother’s.  We aim for 38 donations to reach our fund-raising goal of $5,000.  Every step we take, and every dollar raised, supports critical research at the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center, bringing us closer to better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
