Published on: November 20, 2025The Morizzo Foundation has been busy over the last several months hosting events to raise funds for glioblastoma research at the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center. Thanks to their hard work and efforts, they donated $175,000 this week.
Thanks to the Morizzo Foundation, and all the teams who participate in Angels Among Us each and every year, Duke is making BIG strides in brain tumor research, clinical trials, and advanced treatment options.

We've made it easy to share your message with your family and friends. Simply download our Fundraising Toolbox, and use images and/or captions to share with your loved ones how meaningful this is for you - personalize the text to share more of your story, or share it just like it is! Make sure you also share your individual or team link with them so you get credited for their donations!

Angels Among Us 5K is the Only Certified Race on Duke's Campus
Published on: August 19, 2025Did you know the Angels Among Us 5K is the only certified race that runs through Duke's campus? That means you can join us for an incredible cause, know that you are running a course that will qualify for additional races, and enjoy the beautiful scenic route all at the same time!
Enjoy running past the historic Duke Chapel and Nasher Museum of Art, through the calming Sarah P. Duke Gardens, and by the beautiful architecture Duke University has to offer. Rolling hills and scenery make this a 5K course you and your running mates won't want to miss!
Take a look at our 5K map for yourself and get excited for all the beauty this course has to offer. Stick around afterwards and stretch your legs in our Walk for HOPE—an emotional, inspiring walk you won't want to miss.

We'll have all your favorite activities back including our Silent Auction, live entertainment, KidZone, Li'l Angels Dash, food trucks, and so much more!
So what are you waiting for? Reactivate your team (or create a new one if you're joining us for the first time!), update your team page and your personal page in your Participant Center, and get your friends and family onboard for an incredible day filled with hope.
We'll be right by your side the whole way, sharing fundraising tips, things to do at the event, and everything you need to know to maximize your team and enjoy the event.
