Chris and I went out to our favorite restaurant earlier this month to celebrate my 20-year anniversary of my brain cancer survival!
We are heading down to Duke to continue the celebration with friends and family who have been with us for the entire journey and to inspire newly diagnosed patients and caregivers by running the Angels Among Us 5K.
This cause obviously means a lot to me.
A brain tumor diagnosis turns life upside down. It changes what matters, brings people closer, and makes every day feel more meaningful. No one should face it alone. That’s where the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke comes in. They’re one of the top brain tumor centers in the country—helping over 5,000 patients each year with incredible care and cutting-edge treatments. Their team truly gets how tough this journey is, and they’re there every step of the way.
The money we raise will go straight toward life-saving research and clinical trials—real hope, real progress.
I would not be alive today without the efforts of everyone at Duke.
Thanks for whatever you’re able to contribute to this important cause.
