This walk is deeply personal. Our mom, Betsy Burton, is being treated at Duke for brain cancer. She’s a mother, wife, grandmother, sister, daughter, and a cherished friend to many. She also spent her career advocating for children in the courtroom - standing up for families on their hardest days with courage, compassion, and determination.

A brain tumor diagnosis turns life upside down. It changes priorities, tests endurance, and reminds you how much support matters. We are incredibly grateful for the expert care Betsy is receiving at Duke - and we’re walking to help ensure more families can have that same hope.
