Hi, since you have entered my personal page, I'll share some thoughts on this journey over the past 10 years. Nan's diagnosis of a glioblastoma stage 4 cancer came as quite a shock in early March 2013.
After surgery and notification of a very short future without treatment, we were advised to contact Duke's Brain Cancer Center.
We found at Duke ther is ALWAYS HOPE !!
Under Duke's direction, Nan was able to receive treatments in Asheville. Having her positive nature, fight, and strong belief in the power of healing from above, she endured 5 1/2 years when originally told 6 months to a year without treatment.
We attribute her early diagnosis here in Asheville and her wonderful treatment at Duke to our extended time together.
We honestly feel that through research and development at Duke a CURE will be found for this nasty cancer.
We MUST do what we can to raise funds to support this most worthy cause.
Please help us in this FIGHT and continue to give generously so that we may give HOPE to many others.
PEACE & HOPE,
Gene
