Your generous support of Angels Among Us 2025 will provide critical funds to the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke and will allow the center to continue its work in finding a cure for brain cancer and to continue to improve and extend the lives of people with brain tumors. Any donation you can make will make a difference and is greatly appreciated!
I am passionate about this effort and other efforts underway in the brain tumor community. My journey began in November, 2015 when my wife Flora, the love of my life, was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She was treated at Duke by the most brilliant doctors and other health care providers throughout her ordeal. She passed on February 10, 2017 due to a glioblastoma, the most aggressive, treatment-resistant and deadly primary brain tumor. I participate in this important event to give her voice and to honor her legacy and to give voice to ALL those we have lost and to give hope for the future to ALL those now living with a brain tumor. There are currently an estimated 1 million Americans now living with a brain tumor. I have personally had two other family members pass away from a glioblastoma and a coworker succumbed to a lymphoma.
It's just that important!
