Cristie’s Crusaders is back for 2023!

We are now focusing our efforts on our annual fundraising event - Angels Among Us! This 5K and walk through the beautiful Duke Gardens is scheduled for Saturday, April 22 at the Duke Cancer Center. This event supports research and treatments for brain cancer patients. 

Since the creation of Cristie's Crusaders in 2018, we have far surpassed our team goal each year. This year our goal is $15,000! Your support has always meant so much and we really need your help to make it happen again in 2023!!!

In May, I will be celebrating 6 years since my brain cancer diagnosis. As you can imagine, this event means the absolute world to me. Every single day, I thank God for allowing me to be here with all of you. But on this day, I physically get to celebrate my life with my family, friends, other survivors, caregivers, and of course all of my heros at the Brain Tumor Center at Duke. This day is a true inspiration and the push I need to continue fighting. I'm not sure if anyone can truly understand the struggles each and every day. I am so very grateful and thankful for the strength and courage God gives me to fight this miserable disease. I simply couldn't do this without all of your support, love, hugs, encouragement and of course -prayers!

Donate a gift card or provide other raffle items. We've had amazing donations of beach trips, Kentucky Bourbon tours, and rounds of golf at some of NCs Premier golf courses. Remember your gift is tax deductible and has DIRECT impact on Brain cancer research.
