State of Mind

We are running/walking in honor of Jon McGee, who was diagnosed with glioblastoma on March 22, 2018 at the young age of 35. We want to support pushing research efforts at a much faster rate. Being told that this diagnosis carries an average life expectancy of about 15 months is not what anyone wants to hear after they've already learned they have cancer. We want to do what we can to support cutting-edge brain tumor research that will translate into treatments for patients more quickly.  This is a disease for which there has been practically no improvement in treatment outcome for years and we want to change that!

We support Angels Among Us because there is a desperate need for better therapies for brain cancer patients. We also want to bring more awareness to brain tumors.  We hope you will join us to help support the fight against brain tumors.
