"The Brainstormers" team will be participating in Angels Among Us for our eighth year, as Angels celebrates 30 years.   

Stacie was diagnosed with Brain Cancer in 2014 and then had a reoccurence of GBM in 2017.  After two successful surgeries, radiation and chemotherapy, Stacie and our family are looking forward to an eighth year at Angels Among Us. Stacie has been blessed to participate with other young adult cancer survivors through First Descents on numerous adventures including white water rafting, moutain biking, white water kayaking and rock climbing, proving that at Duke, there really is HOPE! The funds raised are critical in the much needed research that impacts brain tumor patients and their future.  

Join Stacie along with family and friends and help support the fight against Brain Cancer.  We welcome all who would like to run or walk the 5K at 8:00 AM or join us in the Walk of Hope at 11:30 on Saturday, April 22, 2023.  Survivor recognition and honors will be held at 10:50.
