Our family has been directly impacted by brain cancer. On November 15, 2018, my father (Don Lacefield), was diagnosed with Stage 4 glioblastoma at the age of 66. He lost his valiant battle on September 24, 2019. The family would like to thank the physicians, nurses and other caregivers who helped care for and support Don in his battle with cancer. The family acknowledges and prays for the warriors who remain in the fight. There is still much work to be done to better understand the most effective way to treat glioblastoma and hopefully one day soon find a CURE! We believe it is fitting for us to all come together to honor his memory on what would have been his 68th birthday!
