Never in my wildest dreams did I think 13 years ago I would be diagnosed with a brain tumor!  

I'll always treasure the support of the many friends and family members, aka 'My Angels,' who stood with me through my brain tumor journey.  I'm also grateful there was a place like the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke.  I’m alive and walking, and continue to receive great reports.  But sadly, not everyone has that same outcome.  That needs to change!

Here’s my ‘ask’ of you. 

Join me in spirit as I once again walk for the cause on Saturday, April 27th at the 2024 Angels Among Us event. I’m also hoping you'll consider helping as I raise funds for a cause so near and dear to my heart – and my head!  Your gift will go a long way in the quest to enhance the kind of hope and cutting edge treatment I received at the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke.

My fundraising deadline for Angels Among Us is Tuesday, April 16th.  My ongoing commitment is to raise critical research funds and give back in a significant way by putting my own money where my mouth – and my head – is!   

Be assured, any amount your heart moves you to contribute - $10, $25, $50, you name it - will be thoughtfully and strategically used by Duke’s research scientists and clinicians to support their important unrestricted, non-government controlled research efforts that are moving us closer to a cure for the deadliest type of brain tumors (gliomas), while also improving the quality of life for all brain tumor patients.
