Your generous support of Angels Among Us 2024 will provide critical funds to the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke and will allow the Center to continue its work in finding a cure for brain cancer and to continue to improve and extend the lives of people with brain tumors.

I am passionate about this effort and other efforts underway in the brain tumor community, it is my calling.  My journey began in November, 2015 when my wife Flora, the love of my life, was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She was treated at Duke by some of the most brilliant doctors and other health care providers throughout her ordeal.  She passed on February 10, 2017 and I do this to give her voice and to honor her legacy and to give voice to ALL those we have lost and to give hope for the future to ALL those now living with a brain tumor.  In addition, this effort is to honor the life of my coworker, Kris Gentry who also was taken by this disease and to honor the life of my cousin Roger Krueger, yet another victim of this relentless disease along with Flora's cousin Frank Iannelli, also claimed by what some of us call "the monster."
