Meet Julie ~~ she was diagnosed with GBM on December 3, 2006, underwent successful surgery and proceeded with chemo and radiation.  She had clean MRI's for one (1) year.  Shortly before Christmas in 2007 she began having symptoms again and was diagnosed with another tumor on December 27, 2007.  She went to her heavenly home 41 days later.  She fought a hard battle, was always positive and always kept her contagious smile.  Julie loved her family dearly, she grew in her Christian faith, she became a better teacher, she sought to inspire her family, her friends and her students.  She  continues to inspire others to this very day.

This year is the fourteenth (16th) year our team, Jogging for Julie, has participated in Angels Among Us.  It has become our mission to raise money for continued research through this 5K and Family Fun Walk.  We run and walk so those affected can have the opportunity to live a more normal life through the new research that is found through the dollars we raise.
