Thank you for visiting Clara's Angels!  Our team has been reactivated for 2025 in support of the Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke and we hope you will join us on April 26, 2025.

It has been 12 years since our sweet Abby was born and Clara's story with brain cancer began.  Headaches and blurred vision just prior to delivery led to a brain scan, a tumor diagnosis, an emergency c-section, and a craniotomy, all in short order.  The relentless tumor came right back and we found Duke.  Truly a miracle!

Today, Clara runs her own interior design business as well as working with several custom builders in the area to help their clients with design (in addition to working out regularly and doing all the other things Moms do).  Jason works tirelessly in his professional role with Nvidia (his expertise is in artificial intelligence area) and whenever he has a moment he is cooking, building or problem solving.  Emily and Abby started high school and middle school respectively this year.  They are both busy in Girl Scouts and piano lessons.  Emily is taking computer programming and second level Spanish and Abby has embraced gymnastics.  There was a day in the past when we could not envision this future and we owe so much to each of you for supporting us with your love and prayers and for supporting Duke in their compassionate healing.  

Brain cancer leaves it mark on all those connected and sadly more people are diagnosed daily.  Please join us in April 2025 as we cheer on all the survivors and provide for those who need our support!
