The Justin Daniel Carney Team was formed to honor the memory of Justin Daniel Carney who, with the help of the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center staff, fought a courageous and determined nine month battle with Medulloblastoma brain cancer. Justin lost that battle on October 24, 1994...he was only eight years old. Justin was very bright, intelligent, loving, and always cared about others. He had a very strong faith in God and fought his battle with courage, hope and faith.
We miss Justin terribly, but continue his fight and keep his memory and legacy alive by our unending support of the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center. This year will mark our 30th consecutive year of support and participation. "At Duke, There is HOPE"...they do make a difference with their ambitious and aggressive research and treatment of this terrible disease. In addition, the entire staff provides world class treatment of the patients and their families through their dedication, caring attitude and heartfelt compassion.
We welcome you to join our team and/or make a contribution in hopes that we will always have HOPE and someday soon FIND A CURE!
