As you may know, my father was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2008, one month after retiring. His disease quickly spread to stage 4, and despite many treatment interventions, diet changes, prayer, and a tremendously positive attitude, he succumbed to the disease on May 17, 2012.  In his honor, I will once again be running Duke's CRUSH Colorectal Cancer 5k on March 21.
