Finding a cure for colorectal cancer is a casue that has a very personal tie to our family as my mom was first diagnosed with colorectal cancer many years ago and started her long cancer battle which she fought bravely until 2015. I myself, through genetic testing, have an 80% chance of having colorectal cancer. You look at a doctor real funny when he poses the question “…do you want to go ahead and have your colon removed as a preventive measure?” uh, no!
