I'm fundraising in support of Duke's mission to help support and pay for the therapy of cancer patients and loved ones. Therapy has played such a vital role in my own life grieving the loss of Aaron Deal who after a 9 month battle, lost his life at age 32 to glioblastoma. It is in Aaron's memory that we will be raising money by holding a 26.2 25# Ruck Event near Umstead State Park on November 9th. 

We would love more participants, but our primary mission to raise awareness and funding while we are out training and participating in the event. You can follow this mission along with training updates, posts about Aaron, as well as learning more about Duke's initiative.
