Join me in supporting Duke Cancer Institute, Prostate & Urologic Cancers

Caroline's and my world was rocked in June, 2022. A week after my father died, we were told I had stage 4 prostate cancer. It had metastasized out of my prostate to my lungs, bones and brain. Fortunately I was matched with the best cancer docs in the world. Dr. Hoimes took charge of treating the cancer below my neck and Dr. Kirkpatrick took on the two brain tumors.
Drs. Hoimes and Kirkpatrick have overseen a lot of progress. My brain tumors are gone and I have had an overall good response to Dr. Hoimes' various treatments. I continue to feel great and am prepared to keep fighting!
I am raising much needed funds to support research and patient care for the Duke Cancer Institute. One third of funds raised will go to patient care and research for Dr. Hoimes and Dr. Kirkpatrick (1/3 each). The remaining funds will go to the Duke Center for Prostate & Urologic Cancers. All pledges will be anonymous. Multi-year pledges can also be set up by emailing Brian French of the Duke Cancer Institute at brian.french@duke.edu. Donors who wish to donate via a Donor Advised Fund should also coordinate with Brian French.
Thanks in advance for your support. All donations, no matter the size, are greatly appreciated!
Cheers, Joel
