For those of us who have had a Cancer diagnosis, it is sometimes hard to find a bright spot within the chaos that surrounds that confusing time. But that's what the Pink Ribbon Yoga Retreat has been offering to women for over twenty years.  The venue often changes but the intent never does.

This year, the YMCA Blueridge, Black Mountain, NC will be the site for the annual retreat from Thursday, August 14 to Sunday, August 17 .  The goal of the woman that started the retreat, Jean Costa, along with the women that have since joined her, with the endorsement of the Duke Cancer Support Program is to provide a selection of sessions that are informative, interesting and fun.  Yoga is just one of the many offerings.  It has become a time of laughter, reflection, sharing, learning and of making new friends and contacts.

The weekend away is provided each year by funds raised to help supplement the base price that participants pay and sometimes provides full or partial scholarships.
