Hi! Thank you for visiting the Wanda's Warriors team page for the 2025 Strike Out for Sarcoma race! We are more than excited to be be participating for our 9th consecutive year as a team.

My Mom, Wanda, was diagnosed with stage IV Leiomyosarcoma cancer in May of 2009. Since then she has been through chemotherapy, radiation, and surgeries for tumor removal multiple times.  She began treatment again in April of 2024, and the fight for a cure continues. 

I hope you'll consider being a part of the team this year or donating to support Duke's Sarcoma Cancer research. You can walk or run at any pace. Together, we will finish and enjoy celebrating those who have lost the fight and those who continue to fight.
