With OC, a small number of cells usually lie dormant after treatment, and they wait for an opportunity to start growing exponentially. I am now considered to have a chronic cancer, with a 99% chance of recurrence at any time. I really am depending on research for more effective drugs.  

I am the Team Captain for Fighting In Faith for the Gail Parkins Memorial Ovarian Cancer Walk & 5K Run.  Event day- September 23, 2023 at Sanderson High School in Raleigh, NC.
