Join Team Fluffy Strong and support Ovarian Cancer Research as we participate in the Gail Parkins Memorial Ovarian Cancer Walk & 5K Run. 

I originally heard about this Walk/Run when Maureen Bowen (Bo) was fighting her own battle with cancer.  Because she loved running, she started Team Fluffy Strong to help raise awareness about this terrible disease and the work Duke was doing to fight it. Through her passion, her team grew into the largest team at the event.  Since Maureen passed in 2020, her Team has carried on her legacy by supporting and participating in this, her favorite fundraising event.  

It is particularly meaningful for me to attend the event in person this year. So please help me raise some dough in honor of Bo!

I know times are tough and appreciate any support you can afford.  The money will help Duke Health continue making progress with new and better treatments and continuing their goal of finding an accurate ovarian cancer screening test. With your help, it will become a reality.  And if you can't afford to donate, please tell your friends and help raise awareness.
