The American Cancer Society estimates that more than 19,000 women will be diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer this year.  Mortality rates for this disease have not significantly improved in the last forty years.  We need an effective early detection test for this most deadly of all gynecological cancers!  Join us and help make a difference.

Support Ovarian Cancer Research by participating in the Annual Gail Parkins Memorial Ovarian Cancer 5K Run & Walk.  The event is held on the 3rd Saturday in September (please check the main page for real time information) at Sanderson High School in Raleigh, NC.  There is a registration fee but the good news is that it all goes towards our team fundraising goal!  If you can’t be there, please consider making a donation to our team so that we can reach our goal.  Any amount helps!

In over 10 years Teal Team Six has had over 50 different participates and we want to increase that number!  Our team was formed in memory of my mom, Diane DeHippolytis, but we honor all those who are fighting or have been affected by cancer.
