Hello Family and Friends,

September is Ovarian Cancer month.  Ovarian cancer is the deadliest of all gynecological cancers. Because symptoms are often vague and difficult to recognize, its usually diagnosed at a later stage.

I recently accepted the challenge to raise funds to support Duke Cancer Institute. I will be participating in the the Gail Parkins Ovarian Cancer Memorial Walk and 5k on September 20, 2025 at Sanderson High School, Raleigh N.C.

My goal is $1,000 as of today I have raised $770. These funds will be used to raise awareness about ovarian cancer, the early detection and screening and support, research and improve treatments.
