We’re a group of Duke DPT students coming together to support the Gail Parkins Memorial Ovarian Cancer Walk & 5K Run, a cause that’s really close to my heart. This event honors my grandmother, Gail Parkins, and helps raise awareness and funds for ovarian cancer research and patient care through the Duke Cancer Institute.

We’re walking (and running!) in memory of those we’ve lost, in support of those still fighting, and in hope for a future without this disease.
