My Mom passed away on January 27th this year. Technically, she was a cancer survivor, but the destruction of chemotherapy and the trauma of diagnosis, surgery, recurrance, and a 8-year battle took its toll. Her decline had been long, but in the end her passing was brief. For this we are thankful, and also so thankful we had all those years with her. We walk so more can be done to discover and treat Ovarian Cancer before it becomes such a life altering nemesis or fatal diagnosis. In honor of you, Mom. We love you!
