Friends & Family:

It has been 16 years since my ovarian cancer surgery and treatment, and no recurrence!  Dr. Berchuck says I'm a superstar.  While I'm not sure about that, I can certainly say it has been a journey of support, friendships, learning and opportunities.  And I know that research is critical!  Won't you join me in my efforts to support Ovarian Cancer research as I participate in the 20th Annual Gail Parkins Memorial Ovarian Cancer Walk & 5K Run?

All of the money we raise at the Walk goes directly to the Duke Cancer Center to support ovarian cancer research.  Duke is making progress with new and better treatments and continuing in their goal of finding an accurate screening test, and with your help it will become a reality. Any amount, great or small, helps to raise money and awareness in our fight against ovarian cancer.

I greatly appreciate any support that you can afford and will keep you posted on my progress.
