Hello friends!

It's been three years since my last haircut, and I'm taking my curls (and self) Over the Edge for Duke Children's!  My goal is to raise $2,000 for Duke Children’s Hospital and I'm asking for your help to make it happen! 

Specifically, I’m asking for your donations to the William H. Mautz Pediatric Cardiology Family Wellness Endowment at Duke Children’s Hospital.  Established in 2016, this Endowment honors the memory of my brother, William, by funding wellness programs that support pediatric cardiology patients and their families. 

I have two milestone goals for this fundraiser:

1. If I meet my initial goal of $1,000 by Sunday, April 14th, I will take part in Duke Children's Over the Edge event and rappel down the side of the 21c Museum Hotel in Downtown Durham.  While I am not fond of heights, I will document my descent down the 17-story building on Saturday, April 20th via my Instagram and YouTube channel (links below).

2. If I meet my overall goal of $2,000 by Friday, April 19th, I will donate an inch of my hair for every $100 raised (a total of 20 inches) to Wigs for Kids.  Wigs for Kids partners with Duke Children's Hospital to provide wigs for pediatric patients experiencing hair loss. 

As an added incentive, if you contribute via this webpage, you get to pick my hairstyle after I donate my hair!  I will document my donation haircut and the chosen hairstyle via Instagram and YouTube the week of April 22, 2024.
