In the photo to the left, above, or wherever it may be on your screen, that’s me and my husband with the Whitney’s Hope t-shirts on! This was taken a little over eight years ago and about two years after I finished treatment. In this photo, we did an event to help register stem cell donors. When I was a patient on the PTCT floor, I had a stem cell transplant which is why I am so passionate about raising funds for this program! Not only did the family support program shower us with love during my treatment, but they also provided so much more like activities for patients and snacks for parents. They became like family to us. I hope you will join me in supporting them this year! I am super excited about the new vision, WE Hope. I pray you are too! In addition, I am looking forward to seeing you for the walk as we come together with all the other families who have been blessed by the PTCT program at Duke.
