As a pediatric cardiac sonographer at Duke Children's Hospital, I've had the privilege to be an integral part in the course of care for our pediatric and congenital heart disease community. Even in the wake of hard times in the hospital, or during their journey in returning to a normal childhood back home, they've humbled me with their fearlessness and awe-inspiring joy each step of the way.

My goal in participating in the Over the Edge event is to honor the incredible courage and strength of the kids here at Duke Children's by taking this daring leap and repelling off the top of our hospital. I hope to inspire others to join our cause and contribute in any way they can.
