I am a part of Team “Wanda’s Warriors.” 

My friend’s mom, Wanda, was diagnosed with Stage IV Leiomyosarcoma cancer in May 2009. Since then she has been through chemotherapy, radiation, and surgeries for tumor removal multiple times. She started treatment again in April 2024, and the fight for cure continues.

I hope you consider being a part of her team this year or donating to support Duke Sarcoma Cancer research. You can walk or run at any pace for Wanda. Together, we will finish and enjoy celebrating those who have lost a fight and those who continue to fight.
