Strike Out For Sarcoma 5K 2024

Team Strange

In the summer of 2022, I was diagnosed with sarcoma after discovering a lump in my upper thigh. My treatment journey included 25 rounds of radiation followed by surgery at the end of September 2022. Since then, I have regular follow-ups every three months, undergoing chest X-rays and CT scans to ensure the cancer hasn't returned. This experience profoundly changed my life, making me appreciate each day and realize the amazing support system I have. Sarcoma is a rare cancer, accounting for only 1% of adult cancers, which is why fundraising is essential to raise awareness and fund vital research. Additionally, sarcomas make up 15% of childhood cancers, making this cause crucial in providing hope to affected children and their families. Any amount you can contribute is greatly appreciated, and no donation is too small. Thank you all for your incredible support.
