Sarcoma 2023 Strike Out 5k

Team Strange

My battle with sarcoma begin in the Summer of 2022. After feeling a hard lump in my leg, numerous tests led to a biopsy that confirmed the suspicions of soft tissue sarcoma. After 25 rounds of radiation, then surgery to remove the baseball sized lump, in September of last year I was declared cancer free. This rare type of cancer can spread to the lungs, therefore scans are required every 3 months for the first several years. I am so thankful to the amazing support of my family and friends and to the wonderful staff, nurses, and doctors at Duke that took such good care of me. By joining my team, we can help raise awareness, fund research, and bring hope to those battling this illness. Thank you for your support and donations. Any amount is so appreciated!

Love,

Jodi
