The Angels Among Us 5K & Walk for HOPE, held each April, is the only race that runs by the Duke Chapel and through the Sarah P. Duke Gardens.

5K Race

The 5K race is a competitive, certified course professionally timed. Enjoy rolling hills as you run through the beautiful Duke campus, by the Duke Chapel, the Ronald McDonald House, and the Nasher Museum of Art. We are the ONLY 5K run on the Duke campus!

Walk for HOPE

The Walk for HOPE begins at the main stage and, led by our pediatric survivors, followed by our adult survivors. There are two route options for you to choose from, a half-mile walk around the Duke Medicine Circle then add the Duke Gardens for another mile. Both routes are wheelchair accessible. Li'l Angels Dash

The Li'l Angels Dash is back in 2026 for the fourth year! This event is designed for children ages 2 to 10 and takes place on Flowers Drive so everyone can cheer on the little ones. Each child will receive a race bib, an event T-shirt, and an award following the dash.

Parking

All traffic should access Yearby Avenue via Anderson Street, and please avoid Flowers Drive.The GPS address will take you directly to the general parking entrance beside the event. That address is:

Accessible Parking

People or groups with disabilities may park in the lot on the corner of Yearby Avenue and Flowers Drive. Show your pass to staff on Yearby Avenue, then proceed to lower lot on the right. Ramps are on all medians so you can easily access all tents and activities.

Online registration is open until Thursday, April 23. You may also register in person on the day of the event, April 25. Register early to take advantage of our Early Bird rates. Registration fees are:
