Sponsorship Opportunities
Angels Among Us 5K & Walk for HOPE offers a unique opportunity to grow your business through the event as well as face-to-face engagement with the community. This annual event attracts runners and walkers from North Carolina and beyond who join together to support the research efforts at the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center. There are three important ways for you to get involved, detailed below.
Employees—Get Your Company to Participate!
Did you know that many companies support employee volunteer activities? Check with your HR department to see if you can create a company team that runs (or walks) and can sponsor the event.
We salute Credit Suisse for annually supporting the Angels Among Us 5K & Walk for HOPE by being an event sponsor and creating an employee running and walking team.
If you would like your company to get involved, we’ve created information sheets to help prepare a sponsor packet for your business. These documents highlight why financial support is critical in the fight against brain tumors.
When you receive confirmation that your business will donate to your team, please email the business name, address, amount of the donation, and their company logo to angelsamongus@duke.edu no later than Friday, April 11.
Support the Event
By becoming a sponsor your business will have a strong presence at the event and your support will make a difference in patient treatment, education, and research.
Angels Among Us offers many ways a corporate sponsor may receive recognition for their donation; from the company logo or name printed on thousands of event T-shirts, banners and signs, to sponsor tables at the event. Check out our sponsorship levels for more details.
Donate In-Kind Gifts
Companies can support the event by providing products, prizes, or services that can be used on the day of the event. Here is just a sample of what is needed:
- Bottled water, sports or recovery drinks
- Race day meals or snacks for participants, volunteers, and staff (items include energy bars, fruits, veggies, bagels, etc.)
- Prize merchandise, services, and goodies for our top finishers
- Special gift for cancer survivors
- Silent Auction items or children awards
